Beta 47: Dragged Under

Lost & Found has found a new way to leave you empty-handed.
Beta 47 is available for Windows, Linux and macOS. This update covers everything since Beta 45, including the smaller Beta 46 nail-gun update that did not have its own announcement.
Dragged under
When Lost & Found gives you the middle finger, its departure now has an audience. Six zombie arms reach out of a cracked, red-lit opening, feel around for the case, grab it and drag it underground. At its next location, the box rises from the ground on its own.
Each arm has a different position, approach and grip. Fingers spread as the wrists open, curl as they fold, then settle against the lid while the box rocks and sinks. Broken ground, branching cracks, loose stones and a pulsing red glow finish the opening.
The box stays unavailable throughout the relocation and becomes usable when it settles. The tutorial now follows the complete departure and arrival. All five placement spots have also been adjusted so the case rests above the floor and the lid has room to open without clipping through the wall behind it.
A few unfamiliar faces
Three new Employee zombie models join the original. Half of basic zombies use the original model; the other half is shared equally between the three new looks. They use the same animation set and comparable sizing, with unchanged stats and collision sizes. Co-op players see the same model on each zombie.
The main-menu crowd includes the new variants too, so the variety starts before your shift does.

Weapons and feedback
- Crossbow: firing a bolt now starts the 0.91-second reload automatically when reserve bolts remain. No extra trigger pull or reload press is needed.
- Empty weapons: holding fire with no ammunition left produces a quiet mechanical click at the weapon’s firing cadence, including semi-automatics. It does not create a shot, recoil or firing animation. An empty magazine with reserve ammunition still reloads.
- Motion Carried: the Boardroom Carbine’s recoil increases from 0.525 to 1.05 degrees per shot. Its damage, firing interval, magazine, reload and handling remain the same.
- From Beta 46: the Nail Gun moved to the green atrium wall behind the reception desk, facing the entrance. Its purchase price dropped from 3,000 to 2,000 points, and ammunition restocks from 1,250 to 1,000.
The in-game floor plans and website reference maps have been refreshed to match the current placements.
